I know this isn't a fault of the writers and more personal taste, but after 2,5 seasons (I'm counting Michonne here), as well as games like Wolf Among Us (which I liked) and Game of Thrones (which I didn't), I can't say I'm itching for another story where, no matter what I do, the world is waiting to kick me in the emotional equivalent of balls. I was never even one of the fans who would rather want a million different outcomes for all your choices, but all your choices just resulting in various flavors of misery makes it all feel a bit too pointless to me. I'm one of the last survivors of Mixnmojo, I don't need a computer simulation to tell me what misery feels like.

Maybe I'll give it a go if Mojo likes the rest of the episodes though.

I agree with pretty much all of that. Guardians of the Galaxy might work out better, though I'm wondering if it might end up being a bit too Tales from the Borderlands-esque, too. At least it will/should be funny.

For now, though, we'll keep pouring on the misery. ;D

The biggest downside of these games for me is just that it's nothing but bleakness. I love certain depressing fiction (see Black Mirror, for example), but no matter how you play these games, you'll always end up in a situation with people hating you and going from a shitty point to an even shittier point. Maybe it's a weird criticism, but Walking Dead being what it is you'll never reach a point where your good intentions result in a reasonable living situation in the post apocalypse.
