Look, I tried. I tried to like it, I even tried to hate it, but there is absolutely so little to Batman. If you've played any other Telltale game over the last five years you know what you'll get. That's about it.
But hey, read the rest of the review if you so would like.
As for their previous games, TMI held its own, and particularly the third season of S&M was stellar, better than "Hit the Road". (In my less than humble opinion.)
I realize there has been a while since those games were released, but they've done very good games that weren't related to LEC too. The first season of Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, Wolf Among Us. Rose tinted glasses aside, there is also such a thing as shit tinted glasses. ¬
But I agree, the last few years have had more downs than up. The new season of Walking Dead is thankfully an up so far—look forward (or don't!) to a Mojo review any day now!

I still think rose tinted glasses was there only thing that even helped their earlier projects like S&M and ToMI.
I still think those older games have value and they were a blast back in the day, considering they actually were a relatively small indie studio back then, but I think (almost?) everyone here was hoping they'd grow in a different direction than what they ended up doing. I still remember those three S&M games and the community surrounding it fondly, but modern Telltale definitely doesn't feel like the same company as it did back then.

Why Mojo still covers up this sorry excuse for a game company is beyond me. Nothing more to do with LEC since forever.
I said that a pretty long time ago. I haven't really liked anything from them except the walking dead, and that's gotten pretty predictable.

Is it wrong that the awkward sex scene is the only reason why I actually kind of want to play this game?
You might be able to YouTube it?
