If you want to play The Legend of Monkey Island DLC from July 20, you're going to need the base game Sea of Thieves. And if you don't have it yet, to celebrate its 5th birthday, Steam have it on sale at half-price, as well as the other related soundtracks, wallpapers etc, for the next day.

Go buy it the instant you have Dialed up your Destiny. Or now. Whatever.

    It’s all on Xbox Game Pass so there is the option of subscribing to play the expansion and then sacking it off.



    I like this, mainly because I'm hoping the expansion plays like Tales but with better graphics.

    Well well. I was assuming Sea of Thieves would be discounted to 50% in the Steam summer sale, which starts when this one-day sale ends. Perhaps it'll be discounted more????? Or perhaps I shouldn't be such a cheapskate.
