Speaking of Nicolas Deneschau: He has taken it upon himself to post all the images from the thankfully cancelled Curse of Monkey Island movie, which (I believe) were bundled with the Special Edition DVD. See them all right here, and hopefully we'll never have to talk about that carwreck of an idea again. (Fair is fair, though: the art looks fantastic.)

I'm confused though. I though the script at this point of production was more sensible and when "LucasFilm" passed on doing it, the screenwriters took it to Disney after changing character names and what we got was the fantastic (first) Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
I think we can chalk that up to being an urban legend of Monkey Island fandom. From what I recall, pretty much everyone who worked on the first POTC movie has responded with "I have no idea what you're talking about" when asked about it. I wanted to believe it, too...
Of course, we've also got "Pirates: A Band of Misfits!" for any and all goofy-slapstick swashbuckling needs, so it's not much of a loss.

I'm pretty sure we've seen this artwork before: https://i.imgur.com/VQU363S.png
What I meant to say was "I feel as though we've be lucky to see this sweet close-up of LeChuck before, but I don't recall when."
-Act 1: Deep in the Caribbean- (Alright, good start. Good start.) Jungle rave music (odd, but okay) fills the night as WILD MONKEYS dance like maniacs with glow-sticks.(Closes browser)
