So here we are, another season of what many, possibly most, consider the best game of last year. Can The Walking Dead: Season Two live up to its predecessor? After playing “All That Remains” we can say... possibly? Maybe? Outlook is hazy?
Anyway! Read our review; maybe you agree with us, but you probably don't.

In no way did I feel the scene was contrived. We are talking the scene involving a can of beans, correct?
Indeed. The issue with it is that it is completely random within the context of the scene -- might as well have an alien come jumping out of Clementine's stomach.
While I don't think the game should be realistic per se, it should at least follow certain rules within the universe. There were ways a scene like that could have fit in, but the way they handled it, it just didn't. it made no sense to me, and I feel it was a contrived addition.
(Glad you're OK with it, though, as I'm sure that means you enjoy the game the way I wanted to enjoy it.)
The scene seemed very natural to me as well, and while it surprised the heck out of me, it still seemed realistic, since I've had similar real life experiences like that (but of course not to that extreme).
In my case, it had to do with abuse before I came along. Like the game, she was happy until it came time to do what you had to do in the game, then her natural instincts kicked in, and you had to stay well away from her.
I could see how the events leading up to the episode could cause the same thing in the game.

Thinking about it, there's a possibility that maybe a minor choice one of us made that affected small details about how said occurance happened could have affected how contrived it felt? Because the progression to what happened seemed pretty natural/realistic, but without actually playing variants on the scene I could see one specific version of the scene seeming kind of out of nowhere, if it plays out how I imagine it probably does. I'll have to go replay that scene and see at some point.

Which will be any time, right...?
