Over the last few days we have been sent tons of emails with random subjects but with this content:
Hi! How are you?
I send you this file in order to have your advice
See you later. Thanks
Mojo network staff and other folk with mojo email might be recieving it to, and guess what? That attachment has a new virus in it called SirCam. Luckily most of us are not Dumb A***holes and havn't opened the file. But beware....
You can read all about SirCam here.

I should try installing windows into another directory that would probably stop a lot of virus that want to edit C:windowssystems

The only fault with that is that most 3rd part programs are stupid and will freak out during installs or not work correctly if the path c:windows isn't found. How else do you think that virus defense will work? LOL. Besides, many people have pre-built systems (compaq, etc) that only regain full functionality from a restore cd, which (last I checked) doesn't give those users the freedom to put windows into any other dir. Plus, one other thing to consider is that viruses can be built to read the registry. Open up regedit, hit F3, and type in PRODUCTKEY - the first and only hit should bring you to the spot in the registry where your windows product key is located. Tak a look around and you will see setup and install paths listed in the same general area. If a virus is coded to read this too, it can go in and see that you installed Windows to D:fool_viruseswindows and adjust its course to match. :P

Strangly enough, I have not received the virus at all - must just be that my friends are clever enough not to get infected.

Thanks for the warning, Spaff! I was just about to open Outlook before I read this message. I got the message on more than just my @grimfandango2.com account. It was sent to my hotmail account as well.
