There is no issue. I can say with 100% certainty that it is: Dan Pettit :-)
  • QueZTone on 22 Oct, 2002, 13:15…
next to the pettit-petit issue i think its supposed to be Laverne and not Lavern?
  • Haggis on 22 Oct, 2002, 15:42…
And it should be Fat Skeleton Dude, and not Fat Skelton Dude...

Why doesn't mojo have an interview with Dan Pettit, I wonder? He's competing with robox and fat skeleton dude for becoming mojo's coolest poll mascotte!

Yo has anyone seen Mallrats?. Its a great film and sometimes I feel like two characters out of that film. Brodie and Silent Bob because usually whenever I feel like it i'm just talking out of my ass most of the time and at other times i'm just like Silent Bob because well, I dont usually talk much (in school anyway) but enough about me heres a strange (not to mention funny) joke that apparantley is the top joke in belgium (go to www.allowe.com and check out the Cyberjoke 3000? archives, you'll see what I mean).

Why do ducks have webbed feet? To stamp out fires.

Why do elephants have flat feet? To stamp out burning ducks.

Why do whales swim in the ocean? To keep away from flaming elephants.

Oh by the way my Papa just gave me Grand Prix Legends? as a gift from Austrailia (He goes to Austrailia quite a lot and always gets me neat stuff, like two years ago when he brought back several CD-ROMs and let me choose one to have. I asked for the two particulary interesting looking ones he had there named "The Disc". It used to be a PC magazine in Australia but the unique thing about it was that it was sold as just the CD-ROM and there was all the magazine material inside, news, previews, reviews, playable demos, even a film review and some music reviews, but it didnt look like some boring-ass PC-Gamer or PC-Plus menu thingy in which you read the reviews or whatever, hell no. It was pretty cool looking and the reviews and shit were read out to you by some reviewers with voices that wont bore you to sleep. And whenever you clicked on a certain menu like shareware or something, a little movie pops up with two funny guys (with cool hairstyles) who would say something about the category you're in like on one disc when they talk about shareware the first guy would say "Why do they call it "shareware"?" and the second guy replys "Because, paying through "Bastards-ware" wasnt catchy enough." then the fist guy looks at the camera and says "Some people have no taste". I know that youre either bored out of youre ass and that you want to fucking kill me but if you are then why the fuck are you reading this? Go somewhere else. However if you want to hear more then read on.

The reason why I wanted to have both discs was that they had some adventure game material in them. One of them had a demo of The Dig? ("Holy shit so he finally gets to something LucasArts? related.) and the other had a review of Flight of the Amazon Queen? (What the fuck is that?) the first ever (full version) adventure game I owned. Yes you may be wondering what Flight of the Amazon Queen?(FAQ) is and i'll tell you. Its a game that was mostly inspired by the Monkey Island? and Indiana Jones? games and you'll find out more about it at www.the-underdogs.org because I dont want to ramble on about it. I enjoyed the playable demo of The Dig? and I cant wait to get the full version.).

HOLY SHIT did you see all that crap I typed up? Its a bit scary that my Papa brought home "Grand Prix Legends?" because I was thinking he'd get me a Sierra? game (though I was thinking more along the lines of "Space Quest 6?" but I dont know why).

Well I hope all you guys found that useless shit quite informative (and entertaining).

That surely wins not only longest ever comment, but largest ever rant!

and btw flight of the amazon queen was enjoyed by meee :)
  • Bobo Donkey? on 23 Oct, 2002, 10:55…
Yeah its amazing the things I can do to get myself noticed around here, I mean firstly I had just typed it down to the duck joke then after that my papa called me through to give me Grand Prix Legends? and from there on I just went berserk with the whole Australia thing.

By the way do you know how to get the conventional memory in DOS mode fixed cause unfortunately I cant seem to do anything about it and as a result I havent played Amazon Queen? for about 5 years (Im just glad that other adventure games exist) because it requires 580k of conventional memory in DOS mode. Any help would be great spaff.

By the way do I win any money or any adventure games for posting the longest comment and largest rant?(just kidding)

(Of course by asking that some people might just compete against me.)

Heres my little face again }:?)

Is Dan Petit the smaller version of Dan Pettit?
  • telarium on 22 Oct, 2002, 08:14…
Webmonkey has difficulty remembering how to spell his name.
  • DJG on 22 Oct, 2002, 12:39…
I don't know what you're talking about. The name is obviously spelled properly in the poll. You all must be seeing things. *whistles*
