Star Wars Announcement Announced 09 Dec, 2009 / Comments: 5

As is LucasArts MO these days, there has been an announcement that there will be a new Star Wars Game (well, I assume it's a game, it's not explicitely stated) announced at the 2009 Video Game Awards. The Spike TV event is on December 12th.

If you're already doing YouTube stuff, you could do worse than have a peek at this video (it's not Mojo related, it's just EPIC WINness) if you're not already one of the 2 million+ who have watched it in the last day or so.

Update: Thanks for the tipoff black_sheep. This is probably the game, Star Wars Legends.

    KotOR 3 is unlikely because Obsidian, AFAIK, has only one unannounced project, and it's supposed to be an original IP. Blood will be shed if the rights were given to any other developer, BioWare included.

    Another TFU game is what I'd put my money on. Most of the footage in the trailer comes from TFU, and LA obviously invested far too much time and money in the engine to scrap it after a single game.

    Did I mention that a turn-based, Obsidian-developed KotOR 3 would be sweet? Because it totally would.
