Is it just me or has Mixnmojo gotten from good to worse. It's a shame that during a period of one year the site has create loads of unintersting articles and become a slave to promote every Lucas Arts product there is, even if it stinks. I thought the site did have some critical views, but I guess the quote "Mixnmojo - a subcomapany under Lucas Arts" goes for the current status of the site. And let's not forget commercial bit. I know that the site needs funding, but at least have the decency to have commericals that's from the gaming industry or something likewise.

No, he is completley correct and i agree with you. Mojo has beocme boring and it needs to not be any more.

I have been really uninspired by mojo for a while, hence ive not been around.

But i am not prepared to let it become a crappy website and so we are goin to inject some fun into the site. First off a big contest. and then some serious thoughts about staffing and getting some humour and fun back into the community.

as for advertising, i am desperatley trying to get the pop ups reduced because they annoy me more than any of you i guarantee.

Hey Nolan and Hey Spaff - Well, I know what you mean ... although I have a site hosted here on mojo (it's closed right now but it'll return before christmas) I have to admit that the motivation to return here just to read or to post a post like this one faded away in the last months...

maybe it's just me. maybe it's because LEC isn't producing a lot of good games, anymore. ... or because you get to hear that your grammar isn't correct when you critizise anything. (it's happening again and again - in bad ways - when someones mother tongue isn't english then you have to try your best to figure out what he means and to be glad that you are able to communicate with him/her - otherwise you are a grammar-racist ... or something like that :) )

... but (!!) - there was interesting stuff going on, too! don't let's forget cool psychonauts preview, mojo's visits to LEC and DoubleFine or the cool memories of mr. Aric Wilmunder. The New Church of Tim (yes I DO believe).

BTW the popups that i really hate are these USarmy promotions - Every sane person has to be disgusted by army-popups. urgh.

However, you kids (at least you talk like kids bgbennyboy and NeuroticJuicer) should not feel pissed just because someone thinks that your favourite website isn't as cool and mojoesque as it used to be. Don't play agressive like you'd get an award for it. always agression - men, you should join captain mystery. he sails the sea of agression and unfriendliness and - clever or not - it's his right to do so.

Sorry to disapoint you, but the site has lost many of it's original vistors the past year. Maybe I'm just one that care to tell And I'd like to hand out information on what the site could improve. Yes, I would even care to write a summary on what to improve. I am a LEC fan, but as always when someone thinks different they have to burn. You're either Good or Evil, nothing could be in between according to the policy from many members of this board.

You cannot possibly speak for or 'know' that mojo has lost many of its original visitors.
Im sure that constructive criticism will always be helpful to mojo, however im equally sure than destructive criticism wont.
You want things to change? - fine, but moaning wont achieve anything. Mojo is free and is run by fans, it doesnt owe anyone anything. It annoyed me that you were criticising mojo in such an unconstructive and negative way - hence the piss off.

I'm not a native tongue, so that imformation wasn't at all bad. Thanks for the tip. So why aren't you guys defending mojo and aruge instead of trying to agitate me. As you might have guessed, it's to no use. I'm curious on what people think of the site and what have become of it without trying to argue about me as person and my grammar mistakes. I'd don't care what you think of me or my grammar mistakes. All I'm intersted in is to try to get some serious responses and an ungoing discussion. Maybe this is a sign that the common mojo visitor doesn't crave for much on this site.

This is a sign that most mojo visitors save big discussions like this for the forums.

Sure, I've heard that some people left the community and stopped visit this site. What I suggest is that you send a mail to the staff and see what happens. Sarcasm or not it may help if you give your 'secret' information to the staff. I think it's a good thing that people care enough about this site that they actually make lists on things that could be improved. Lets hear it now.
