The Simon Jeffery chat has just concluded, and LucasArts will probably be posting the transcript soon. However, until that time, enjoy these highlights:


RAL_Thrawn: You've said that the focus right now is on Star Wars games, and that you will be working on other projects soon. Are there plans for new games in other series, such as Indiana Jones and Monkey Island, or are there completely origional games in development?

Simon Jeffery: We are working on a number of original titles, some of which will be very familiar to you. We haven;t forgotten about Indy either...

Bret: Mr. Jeffery, when will the PC version of Starfighter be released?

Simon Jeffery: Starfighter for PC will be released shortly after the Holidays.

Chas_2001: Out of every Lucasarts game EVER! Which one would you say is the best?

Simon Jeffery: I can't say which LucasArts game is the best, but I can say that the Monkey series are my personal favorites.

Trapezoid: Any hopes of my heros Steve Purcell or Tim Schafer returning for anything?

Simon Jeffery: lunch! ;)

stu_the_monkey: Are you enjoying this??

Simon Jeffery: Yes, though some of the side chat is kinda 'interesting'

    The only Division in our room was UTBuilder the guy who made the Star Wars MOD. I had sympathy for the poor guy being told to Siese and Desist.. Until I saw him in that room complaining. He could not see that LEC was in their rights to stop him and was trying to use the Chatroom as a way to convey his anger towards LEC. Im sure im not alone when i say "Stop cluttering the Chatrooms (12 lines at a time!) and Go down the correct Prosedures! The Chatroom is not meant to be a way of discussing LEC's Legal rights!"

    Lord Archer has written some good books. But he stole them from other places and he is a complete dork so thats why i dont support him by buying his books. UTbuilder is exactly the same, his maps maybe good but he acted outof line in the Simon Jeffery chat.

    Bah, the division is growing between adventure fans and SW game fans. The room I was swamped with SW fans ready to jump on me for any reference to adventure games that I made. Then they all put me on ignore. It's good to see that Simon still likes the adventures, though.
