BadTech have a hilarious satrical comedy strip based on a parody of not only Star Wars but LucasArts "milking the cashcow" use of the Episode I franchise. Among SW & LEC, they also have a pop at AOL, Microsoft, Windows NT, Taco Bell & others!

    It does make you wonder though - with LEC making PS2 ports/originals now, when are they gonna sit down and take note of other non-windows/mac platforms? I would love to see how the games performed under linux - they could probably do like Loki and release the linux-coded binaries for those who own the windows/mac versions. I know this has nothing to do with the comic strip---just brought the thought to my mind when I read the strip and saw star wars and windows bashing together. :)

    I dont really think its necessary to do linux ports when there arent ports that run on Mac hardware, let alone other non PS2 consoles. If you own a PC with linux and really want to play a LucasArts game you can dual install Windows (which everyone with a PC owns, even if they're a slashdotter linux geek and try really really really hard to deny it), but if you own a Mac or non supported console you're SOL without spending between 200 (for a console) and 1500 (for a pc that will barely run it) dollars.

    They should do Amiga ports before they do Linux ports, man. I cuss Linux bad. And I'm not doing this dialect just to annoy anyone either. Now you have to make an effort to find out where the sarcasm is. Ah-ha! (This whole post makes sense!)

    I think Commodore 64 ports would be better... then we could run games on dozer. :)

    I dont like that it glorifies slashdot staff (cmdrtaco etc). I think they're dumb.
