STFU. Sith running hot and cold. 25 Jul, 2009, 05:14 / 9 comments

The Force Unleashed is expanding with more downloadable content including a Tatooine level, and a new retail version "Ultimate Sith Edition" (STFU USE). I guess that makes the original release the "Penultimate Sith Edition".

Also, fans of Star Wars videogaming will be thrilled to learn that The Force Unleashed is soon to conform with every other Star Wars videogame ever made by including a Hoth level;
...the Secret Apprentice is sent to the planet Hoth on a crusade to crush the Rebellion once and for all. While on Hoth, players face Luke Skywalker himself while visiting iconic locations seen in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
You can read the full press release here.

Update: From LucasArts Twitter feed; "...you PC and Mac people who won't stop writing? TFU is coming out for you guys now!"

    Thanks. Why the hell would they not put that in their press release?

    I've been wondering about that myself. They are a bit slow with putting press releases on the site, but I was under the impression that the PC & Mac ports were announced at the same time as the DLC.

    There's also nothing about Monkey for iPhone on LucasArts site. Weird.

    Yes, finally! I've been pretty excited to play this game. Nice stuff.

    Wow, that trailer looks pretty dark, although I don't get why the Apprentice would be taking on Boba Fett.

    It's labeled "Infinities", which is what hypothetical non-canon Star Wars stories go under - people fighting from different timelines, "what if" scenarios etc...
