'Rogue Squadron' rumored for a Wiimake 10 Oct, 2008 / Comments: 6

According to Joystiq a Wii compilation is in the works featuring not only remade / enhanced versions of the Gamecube's Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike, but also the old N64 Rogue Squadron title.

If it pans out it'll be nice to get back in the cockpit again, even if it's Larry Holland's Star Wars Space Combat sims that are the real benchmark amongst fans.

I'd pay for Afterlife remake on Wii. It's one of my fav games and the controls wouldn't be horrible on it.

Why are they releasing this and not Maniac Mansion, Secret of Monkey Island, and Loom?

When I think of games in LEC's back catalogue that would make for ideal Wii ports, I have to admit that Rogue Squadron doesn't top the list.

NICE!!!! Now, I don't have to go and buy Rogue Leader + Gamecube Controller + Gamecube Memory Card so I can play it on my Wii! :D (Hypothetically, of course)

But, where's my other Nintendo LucasArts games on the Wii virtual console?
