Pajama Sam: You Shouldn't Fail to Pick These Games Up on Sale 27 Feb, 2019 / 5 comments

Remember Humongous Entertainment? I know at least one guy who plays adventure games as a result of Ron Gilbert's ultimately doomed but memorable foray into children's adventure games, and the Pajama Sam games—created by Gilbert, Richard Moe, and Rhonda Conley, and centred on a kid named Sam and his cape, facing the scary things that children do—are on sale to prove why. They really are very good.

In other news, Americans, apparently, spell it "pajama." If you've ever wondered why the self-proclaimed "greatest country in the world" can't quite crack the literacy top 20, this might be a good place to start "analyzing".

    Eff Why You:
Some Double Fine Games are severely on GoG Sale right now:
Psychonauts, Broken Age, Stacking, Costume Quest, Brütal Legend and also Dott, GF and FT Remastered.
I want no reward for that information, the materialistic glance in your eyes is thank enough.

Moonbase Commander is a turn-based strategy game developed by Humongous Entertainment in 2002 using the SCUMM scripting language.

On the latter, [url-https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Summer_of_Code/GSoC_Ideas_2019]there's a task[/url] on the Google Summer of Code ideas page on the ScummVM wiki to add networking code for Moonbase Commander so that it can one day become fully supported. I'm hoping someone takes up that task, as it'd be fun to be able to play the game on the go.

What's Moonbase Commander? I've not seen this before, but GOG say it's made by "Humungous Entertainment"?

I wonder why they don't feature Freddie Fish and Putt-Putt. Maybe they WILL one day (hey, waiting for EfMI to appear on GoG instead of pirating it totally worked for me :D)

Good on ya! They're both available on Steam, if you're so inclined.
