Right, my pc is working now (mostly) and there are loads of emails to sort through. Basically all the news will be posted asap. The 10th contest winner finally sent me their address, so I can ship the EMI's now, and we are going to have another contest.

One winner, various prizes, so far we have EMI,loom, plus some EMI goodies. But I want to know what other prizes you want! suggestions please. make then sane please,

    Will it be the CD version of Loom? I need the enhanced version to make better art and stuff. With Photoshop... ya know. You get to meet Ron Gilbert himself.

    Hmmm what about this one spaff..."Guess the game contest". You show a screenshot from a game but of course lots of parts cut out of the picture showing only a little of the screenshot. Then the participants in the contest should guess the game and area it is. Or perhaps if you have any graphical skilled personnel you can do a contest that u show a picture but stuff in the picture is missing. A vase, carpet, whatever and the ppl should guess what is missing. Of course people should answer within a time limit then otherwise they can take their time and check in the game it is from. :) Just brainstorming here :) Ohyeah all prizes below sound nice :) Especially the sound track ideas of Grim Fandango and The Dig, etc :) Cheers =]

    The DIG soundtrack! Not only is it a GREAT prize, because it was discontinued, but it is probably the best music in any LA game.

    what about monkey island madness (monkey island 1 + 2 on cd with voices) I cant find these ANYWHERE!!! This'll make a GREAT Prize!!!

    I want some LEC merchandise! Mugs (go Voodoo), Jumpers, Posters, etc.... And the contest? I have a good idea, how about we all submit insults and comebacks? We could call it 'The Ultimate Insult contest' or something (oh - spaff, please put up all the insults :))...anyway, seriously we should have to submit ideas for the new LEC game that is coming out (NO SW) or we could write an alternative version to an existing LEC game, lets say 300+ words?.....Contest, contest, YEY!!

    as far as i can remember, LEC (or any other game company for that matter) can't accept outside suggestions about new game ideas, or stories, etc. There are some serious legal issues about things like that.

    so whats the point? if you dont expext LEC to do it how does it have anything to do with LEC. if you mean a fan fiction contest, then thats different.

    How about asking Steve Purcell really nicely if he'd do a drawing of the freelance police and autograph it? That'd make a really neat prize :)

    i will ship the prizes to the winner no matter where they live. this is going to be lke an ultimate contest. quiz, art, essay, etc etc etc

    Quiz contest! Or maybe a music contest like the one that was at...well, I can't remember where. It was either Highland Productions or iMuse Island. Anyway, you downloaded a music file and played it, then you had to write down what game it was from. A modification could be not only the game, but also the room (music that isn't in the game but on the CD would be unfair). I would really enjoy that contest. A good prize would be a CD-R of all the Lucasarts Games music you could fit onto it.

    Actually, LucasFilm was the original name for LucasArts, so technically Maniac Mansion, Zak Mcraken, Loom and Secret of Monkey Island are LucasFilm games
