Not so famous leaders poll! 17 Aug, 2002, 09:58 / 17 comments

It was a bloody battle. But eventually Moop came out victorious with 6% of the vote! You may say that because the "big-boned" skeleton dude from CMI had the most votes he would be the winner, but let's be realistic about this people. We all know that there's no such thing as skeletons. (? ?)

Anyway, onwards to the new poll! The new question asks which game industry leader you want to be? Want to run LucasArts? Want to run Double Fine? Want to run Mojo? Let us know in our new poll, "When (if) I grow up I want to be just like:"

I had to put George Lucas. I mean my college essay was about striving to be in George?s shoes (film and game production damn man who isn't). With out that letter I would never have had the chance to nearly fail out of U of Maryland.

I have to say the only reason why I would want to be George Lucas is because we both share the same first name (tentative link) and with all his money, I could fund Lucasarts to create... ADVENTURE GAMES!

Why go for someone like Jeffreys (or even, dare I say it, Schafer...) when you could call all the shots, theoretically...

Oh yeah, and I'd pay Ron Gilbert, Lawrence Holland and Tim Schafer to come back into the fold. Just like the olden days... *sigh* :-)

I want to be Tim Schafer, cause he's so indie-nationally known as he sits untop his thrown (You're all like: "Throw me a bone!"). He doesn't fuss about his flow cuz his rhymes ain't slow, he knows when to attack and when to play it cool, laid back. He's got a cool way of lettin you know he'll get the job done, makin it look easy but you know that's difficult fun. Listen up suckas, cuz Timmy Scafer's on the track with the lack of the wack appeal. He's kickin' out the Psychonauts and he's kickin it real. He may be with MS now, but he needs to get his meals. You're always fussing and complaining like, "I can do that!" Play it cool, little punkin, you can't pull a rabbit out that hat. He'll let you know why soon enough, you'll see. Feel his dope product in 2-double-naught-3.

Tim Scafer comes correct. Feel his dope product in '03, y'all. And when you're done feeling it, purchase it because I think there might be more than meets the touch.

If I was Ron Gilbert, than I would know the secret and not tell you guys on Mojo either. :P

Plus I would be able to sleep at night. His eyes were glowing! I don't get it. :)

Yeah I'd do the same thing too. In fact the next poll should be about famous adventure game characters in the same way as this poll
  • Tall Guy on 17 Aug, 2002, 11:35…
Schafer all the way....he should get a knighthood!
  • csenosiain on 17 Aug, 2002, 11:15…
    either Schafer or Gilbert
