New poll! This time we ask what is the most awesome version of LeChuck and you can pick from any of the incarnations we've seen so far.
Our old poll asked if you want more Monkey Island. Unsurpisingly, the vast majority answered "I must have more!". Only 8 people were more interested in further special editions while four thought the ship had sailed for the franchise.
Should Monkey Island continue or be left in peace? | ||

(he hinted at it in MI2, but he didn't even hesitate in Rise of the Pirate God).
I guess he only hinted that for two reasons: 1) animation problems due to the 2D nature of the game and 2) LeChuck was less pissed off after one game than after 4 games :P

Steve Purcell's Monkey 2 box cover art. That's the best, by far.
The worst is LeChuck from Tales of Monkey Island.
I didn't like the design of Zombie LeChuck from the first episode of Tales, but I really liked human LeChuck and Pirate God LeChuck from the finale is my personal favorite. I liked the design (with the glowing white eyes and his outfit with the spikes on his shoulders and the giant skull belt buckle) and his attitude was so cold in that form with him just enjoying torturing Guybrush so much (he hinted at it in MI2, but he didn't even hesitate in Rise of the Pirate God).
The worst is LeChuck from Tales of Monkey Island.
The title itself is ominous enough (connection Space Quest 2: Vuxhauls Revenge?)
As you know he does't arrive until a bit in the game, and even then it just a few.. really terrifying glimpses of him. Until the unrelenting attacks in the end.
The rest of the game is silly and wacky enough. Le Chuck makes no jokes, but instead tell Guybrush he'll keep him alive and build a 'screaming chair' of his living bones.
And then we have his zombie body and that music.
I guess I'm still a bit shocked by it..

The Monkey 2 version of Zombie LeChuck is hard to beat. Grossest walking animation ever.
Ditto.
Before CMI, LeChuck wasn't used to have tiny thin legs and a giant upper body. He just had a human, proportioned rotten body.
Miss that.
