In our new poll we ask how much you donated to the worthy case of the Double Fine Adventure. Was it a single dollar or did you see triangles in the distance and pledged a 150 grand? Go vote! (it's all anonymous, but feel free to spill the beans in the comments)
Our previous poll shows that most people own several consoles, if not all of them. Many of you also own at least one current generation console as well as no consoles. People with only old consoles do not exist among Mojo's readers:
What consoles do you own? | ||
---|---|---|
All of them! (Well, several current gen. consoles) | 13 | |
One current generation console (e.g. PS3, Xbox 360, DS, etc) | 12 | |
No consoles. Just my trusty PC/Mac | 10 | |
Only an older console (eg. PS2, Xbox, Atari 2600, etc.) | 0 | |
Total votes | 35 |
I have big faith in this project and felt it was something I could do back for the impact those games have had on my life. Hopefully they can live up to their expectations. If they can, this could be a new model for them, otherwise it will be challenging...

if I could pay I would do it. But I don't have a CC and I don't live in the US or know someone who does. It's pretty lame and DoubleFine won't change it. I just hope to get my hands on some of the specialties they're offering for the backers.
Double Fine CAN'T change it. It's a restriction of Kickstarter, and the reason for that is that Amazon Payments was the only provider that would support their unusual funding model, as I understand it.

Even if the game ends up not being "epic", it really can't be that bad for a 15 dollar game lol.
I'm sure it will never be as bad as Telltale's new """"games"""".
"""""""""""""games""""""""""""" is the word, well said

It'll be too late to pledge by then. Which perhaps you don't mind, but personally I'd be a bit sad to miss out on the fun of the next several months. Isn't that worth a $15 punt?
I'm not sure if I really want to get all that involved... I'd be just as happy to pay for the game when it's released. But yeah, I might as well give the money now... there's still a few weeks for me to change my mind. :)

Your card won't be charged until funding day in 25 days, no reason to wait.
Didn't know that, I'm raising my pledge at once. Thanks!

Gave one symbolic buck just for now, I'm waiting to get some money. I'm going to give 30$ anyway, I want that documentary and soundtrack bonanza.

I didn't give anything yet. I kind of want to know what the game is going to be about first.

Still don't understand why they're not adding other pledge/backer options. Anyway, they are on course to make 2.5M now, hopefully 3M is still possible :)
If they do come up with concepts (arts and gameplay), be sure it will pretty much reach 3M. If not, I guess 2M is fine since they have no plan for dubbing in other languages.
And I did give 20 dollars. I'm a student and I barely have enough to eat every day so that's really not much but I couldn't afford more... (but I'll buy an Iphone version when it comes out)
It's difficult to know what kind of announcements will have that effect again (I doubt a future update will have quite as profound an effect. But if we take a guess that they provide a two or three more updates in the next few weeks, and each of those provides a small boost, and also take a guess that there might be a last minute rush of pledges, but that the base level of pledges will stay quite low...
I think they could scrape 2.5m, now. I still think 3 million is unlikely unless they pull something out that's incredibly unexpected.
