The newly re-christened LucasFilm Games – round and around we go – is hitting the ground running. Working with Bethesda and Machine Games, a new Indiana Jones game is on its way:
No word what platforms the game will be available for, but if memory serves me right, Bethesda is now a Microsoft joint, so take from that what you want.

Wow, only a day after Lucasarts makes a comeback (albeit with its original name) and we
already have a new game announcement that miraculously isn't Star Wars? Incredibly, truly. The last time a new Indy game came out was also the same year Tales of Monkey Island was released. So now they really need to get into gear and recify this travesty of a break between sequels. #SaveGuybrush!
I'll sign that petition!

Where are the people saying "I will boycott this game unless it is a 2D point and click"?
I presume they're lost to time now.
Some Kotaku article even mentioned that it was more likely now than ever, due to Indy5 being on its way.
This is absolutely great news, I have huge expectations from this game since the last ten years have raised the bar so much in terms of what a modern action-adventure game can do.
Plus, Machine Games have done such an incredible work with the Wolfenstein reboot that I really expect nothing less than a joy to play. Am I being overly optimistic? Only time will tell, but I have a good feeling about this...
