As Jake said, more news from the news letter is being posted. In the letter LucasArts get ready to announce a new product:
There's something big on the horizon. LucasArts Entertainment Company is about to make an incredibly exciting game announcement! We wish we could tell you more, but that would ruin all the fun. Keep an eye on LucasArts.com over the next few weeks for this and several other exciting announcements

What could this be? Another graphic adventure perhaps? or just another Starwars game? - personally I think its too early before the release of Episode2 to annouce a game for it.. What could it be?

    Hmm, Let's think. Full throttle, Ben and Corley's daughter fell off kinda quickly, no action(ahem). Day of the tentacle, not much of a grand ending, just the flag remained in the tentacle form(la di da). Monkey island, i dont know, after EMI, so soon? kinda unlikely. Starwars, maybe, but they have created so many startrek games that it wouldnt be exciting anymore. I believe that Sam 'n' Max have a quite good chance in this category, there have been no more games with sam and max for a while. Indiana Jones, i personaly was kinda disapointed by The infernal machine, it was too Tomb raided-fan oriented, even though they took the sounds right out of the fate of atlantis. And as for 3d! YUCK! NO THANK YOU! there are enough 3d games out there to choose from, if Lucasarts really cared about their long-term fans, they would have created a 2d masterpiece by now.

    Graphics adventure, but not 3D, not 3D, not 3D!!!! Grimm and EMI are great games exept they're 3D. Curse's graphic style is much better!!!!

    Great Point. there is no need for 3d. i didnt really care for it. I would be perfectly happy for another point and click game from 1994. They were fun and high quality games. Even CMI's graphics were really great. What happened to that fad? who wanted to push further?

    Still, LucasArts seems to be nearly as good with 3D backgrounds as 2D ones...

    a grim 2 would be nice but how would the story go? the game was prity well ended, unless its a continuation of manny in heaven, but what conflicts would there be? God really being satin? no! although another grim would be nice it probably wont happen. A new sam and max would kick more ass than a new Royal Crown Revue cd lucasarts dosent have the rights to the stuff anymore, if you want to read more about that go to the unofficial sam ans max page and it willl tell you. A new original game would be cool. but we will just have to wait and see. I just hope it has a multiplayer aspect added to it also.
