More on That Indy Manual 12 Feb, 2003 / Comments: 11

As mentioned yesterday (and a couple weeks back), LucasArts is putting some extra effort into the manual (and hopefully the game) for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. Last night they were kind enough to send us four scans out of the manual for us to check out, so check them out.

As mentioned by Pedgey and a couple others in the comments earlier, it's unknown as to whether or not people outside the US (especially non-English versions) will be receiving anything resembling this particular book, but we're checking on it. For now enjoy some very nice Indy graphic design, and maybe get a little insight into the game:

I thought I'd state that I cannot reveal any gameplay information or trivia for the Indy games. Only LucasArts can release these details. Thanks!

    Hi all,

It's great to get recognition for my work! Thank you very much for your comments. It was a labor of love, and had the luxury of being left to my own devices.

Feel free to email me with work-related comments at gregoryharsh@beelinegroup.com
Please put INDY as the header.

Anyone with "industry connections" can reach me at this address as well.

Nice manual. Now if we could get the game in a real box instead of those stupid DVD-cases where they put the CDs on top of each other, I would get really happy.

great manual, drew's poster, live orchestra soundtrack.
That's enough for me. This is how to take back customers over piracy.. !

True... game manual usually factors in my purchase decision. Take MS Flight Simulator 2002 for example - I saved up 90 precious dollars and marched right into the store to get it, but when I lifted the box, I realized that this game had no manuals in it!! For an action game that's not necessarily a bad thing, but a simulation game...!?

Another MS-published game called Crimson Skies had nice manuals though. Not unlike the upcoming Indy's, made like a scrapbook tied into the game's historical era.

SWEET! The manual gets 5 stars in my book! Seeing as how much effort they put into this manual, I'm sure the game will be just as amazing (I'm the kind of person who judges a book by its cover).
