Monkey Island up for a Tony 29 Apr, 2005 / Comments: 11

Ok, so probably not, but tonight is the night of the Secret of Monkey Island play at Hammond High School in the Baltimore, MD area. The Baltimore Sun has a nice little write-up of it, including some of the history of getting permission to set the play up and what not.

The show will be on at 6:30 tonight and tickets are $5, so make sure to check it out if you live close by.

    Thanks Jake, I needed to make an account. I get the paper, but I still couldn't be bothered to make an account. I'll be leaving in a couple hours to go set up my camera there.

    I'm there along with my camera. I'd be able to talk about it in the forums if not for some reason that says I no longer have permission to be on lucasforums, even though I'm not banned.

    Hmm, sounds like an IP ban gone wrong, either missing its intended target, or perhaps causing collateral damage in the process. An admin should be able to sort it out...

    That's a bummer about not being able to post on LucasForums. Maybe an admin can sort that out for you. But if not, then you can always e-mail your thoughts and pictures to The SCUMM Bar for us to pimp on the 'net.

    Oh, sorry. We've been slacking at The SCUMM Bar recently because we've got other stuff going on and Monkey Island news is finally starting to die (even the fake news isn't coming in anymore!). We'd be more than happy to publish your play thoughts for you, though.

    If you want a faster response it's best just to leave comment in a recent news story over at TSB.

    yeah, at least your websites' series continued past 1993. Maniac Zombies gets about one fanmail a month, mostly fan art. You've got some really talented people following your series.
