I'm just saying. While it's little more than a splash screen for the special edition, there's something fundamentally disturbing about the fact that Disney is even acknowledging the game on its own web site.
I mistrust it, somehow.

The Monkey Island 2 Special Edition doesn't have any FAQ page, or any page at all at the Disney help site (probably because it's not available on GOG.com yet). The other Steam games that aren't on GOG.com yet also don't have any page on the Disney help site.
But what's really surprising is that the LucasArts help pages have been copied over to the Disney support site in their entirety, so there's actually info about the original DOS Monkey Island 2 release, as well as the update for the original executable (and as you can see, there's still help available for games ranging from the original DOS version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade to Escape from Monkey Island):
Monkey Island 2 Update Info and links to help pages for vintage LucasArts games
And the downloads listed actually are working links that have been uploaded to Disney's servers. I've got to say this is what I'm most shocked about. I'm extremely surprised that they'd offer support on the vintage versions of the games, but happy to see that they do.
No, I take that back. I just found something much more surprising. The only games that were added to the Disney site are the adventure games. The Star Wars games that were released on GOG.com don't have pages, and aren't even mentioned in the list of games available to buy from GOG.com.
Disney's list of Lucasfilm games that are available to purchase on GOG.com
OK, this makes more sense. They are including the adventure games separate from the Star Wars games. It is weird though that the question of which Star Wars games are now available to purchase on GOG.com isn't linked from the which Lucasfilm games are now available to purchase on GOG.com page, but the latter is linked from the former.

Hey, that's funny. The link in the article actually leads me to the DisneyParks Canadian website. Is that why it's supposed to be scary?
Use a proxy if you want to see the real thing. We warned you, it will scare the crap out of you!

No, it seems like the page behaves differently depending on the territory you access it from.

Heh, I noticed that a while ago (proof in the comments here! http://mixnmojo.com/news/Cant-Go-To-PAX-But-Still-Want-to-See-The-Games ), I'm glad someone is finally creeped out by that page as I am.
IT REALLY FREAKED ME OUT!
