Meet the characters of Insecticide 05 Jan, 2008, 21:37 / 11 comments

In a monster preview put up today, Gamespot has full biographies of all the Insecticide characters, so look at them. Included is a whole bunch of new screenshots and a video with some new gameplay footage coupled with the thoughtful input of the finest of today's youth. It also ends with the claim that you can pre-order Insecticide and get a free gift, but I can't find anything on that. See it all for yourself!

Update: The pre-order bonus is apparently some kind of "art book" that you'll get if you pre-order the game from Gamestop.

Haha, "From the makers of LucasArts." I love it.

I don't see a preorder, or any order form on GameStop for the PC version. I don't have a DS (gasp!) but I'd like to get the artbook and the game on PC. Whom do I turn to?

I don't think the PC version is coming out until a little later, and then it will be released as two downloadable parts, with the retail release coming after that. In other words, I think only the DS version is concerned at the moment.

Okay, shameless pitch/plug...apparently many retail buyers' decisions on how many copies of a game to stock are based heavily on how many pre-orders the title gets. So, pre-ordering the game, if you intend to buy it anyway, will help us a lot. Plus, I have to say, The Art of Insecticide book is the coolest souvinir of any project I've worked on. I can't wait for my copy.

    Hi, Larry!
Any news about the PC version launch? :-)

Would love to Larry, but unfortunately that's only in the US at this time - unlike me.

Oops! Sorry, I guess I gotta remember this is the "International" House of Mojo. I can't say that I know all the details of our European launch (okay, I don't even know everything about the U.S. launch...just trying to finish the game), but I'm sure they'll do up something cool.

Of course, if the European launch is months away I'll just preorder at GameStop - they ship internationally after all. It just takes a while.

Of course, I have to know the UK release date first!!

You really don't want to see the Domestic House of Mojo. That place is no fun at all.
