Yeah, I finally found something newsworthy to post! Say, where do all the staff hang out now that Lucasforums is dead?
Actually, does anyone know if there's an archive of Lucasforums anywhere? I was looking for the thread that has all of the covers / promotional artwork from the old Lucasarts adventure games, but now that the forums are dead I can't find it. Can anyone help?
Lucasforums was a part of LFN. We moved Mojo off LFN a while ago because of its unstable servers (thank you, patreons, for making this possible!), but we didn't ask LFN to delete the forums and they didn't seem to mind keeping them around. We were just as surprised as you guys when the forums went down as we haven't heard anything. The forums and the websites were kept on two separate servers and both seem to be down. It could just be a temporary downtime, but the network has been derelict for some time, so it wouldn't come as a big surprise if the forums never return.
We never attempted to extract the Mojo forums as it was all part of a huge database that ran on outdated forum software running on an outdated PHP version with approx. 462 mods done to it over 15 years. I don't think anyone knew exactly how it worked as most of the admins have disappeared. It was a house of cards that should have tumbled down years ago. The forum software was also not free and the version the forums ran on can't be bought anymore.

I managed to get it in time, and I must say it's a pretty solid point and click adventure game.
Professional animations and voice acting, as you'd expect from a game made by Blizzard.
I really don't get why a company does cancel a game that's already reached this state (Freelance Police, anyone?), it's a great game.

Not really Lucas-related, but it's worth mentioning that Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans has finally been released by some guy on a forum after being cancelled almost 20 years ago.
Wow. I guess if you live long enough you really will see everything.
But I cannot force myself to like this project at all. I dislike every single thing I see from it.
I'm sorry.
