LEC July 5th Celebration 05 Jul, 2002 / Comments: 8
Despite the American holiday this week, LucasArts.com has been updated with some new goodies. First up on the menu this evening are five new screenshots from the upcoming PS2, XBox, and PC title, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb.
For seconds, LucasArts has put up its first 20th Anniversary merchandise at the company store. No, it's not a key ring. It's a coffee mug for $12.95! Of course, since LucasArts doesn't ship internationally, those of you living outside the US and Canada may be out of luck.
And finally, there's a new poll that I'm sure you all will want to take part in. The new poll asks which original classic LEC game is your personal favorite. Who knows, maybe now Zak McKracken will finally get the attention he deserves!
It's not that I've heard a rumour but I wouldn't mind getting some things that they have in their shop... I guess it's so that people with American consoles aren't able to buy games off them. Ah well...
The mug is OK I guess BUT the poster idea should definitely be taken up as they could obviously do something amazing with the great art staff they have working there. Film-style posters would be kewl, or just giant box art posters... A man can dream, a man can dream... :-)
i guess you could be right with that US-console-theory... but then they should be able to get some PC games to europe ... or at least a coffee mug. i hope there are no compatibility problems when you try to drink european PAL coffee from a code 1 NTSC Mug :)
what about special posters for each game (also the classics) with the gamebox picture (without gamebox text) and a famous quote .... or something like that.
