...Just the way you like it. It's time once again for you to go vote on the excellent new poll: How Involved in the LucasArts Community Are You? We're curious as to how many of our readers have an LEC fan site tucked away somewhere. Feel free to let us know about it in the comments section!

Here's the run-down of the previous poll, Has Mixnmojo sold out?: 43% of you don't care, as long as we keep making with the news. 37% of voters love us dearly and would never accuse us of selling out. And what of the other 20%? Well, we made sure to delete their accounts as a precautionary measure. Democracy wins again.

I run the mansion. It's unupdated... maybe someday I'll fix it (I will...)
  • Bobo Donkey? on 01 Oct, 2002, 09:27…
You know what? Maybe you SHOULD update it. As far as I know it hasnt been updated for TWO years. So maybe you should just do that ok.

(You could be lying actually, you may not be who you say you are. The real person who used to run the mansion is probably dead.)

    I regularly visit #monkey-island channel
It's fun, the people there are nice and talkative. I feel at home there. I will be visiting #monkey-island everyday until it is shutdown!!! Hopefully never!

Keep up the good work guys!
    It's Sens!

I'm 8 of 12, I run Nightlight Productions, and according to most of the e-mails I get, I'm a complete hack.

Kickstand and Mindbent here. Contemplating another Mojo site (tee) but not announcing it yet.
  • matt on 25 Sep, 2002, 11:40…
... is this still part of the "how-can-we-make-mojo-more-interesting-if-necessary-campaign?"
... what about those "we interview the creators of our hosted sites" articles? I remember something like that had been started once - but i never was interviewed :) haha ... how about some kind of contest? the tagline-contest was cool.
  • matt on 27 Sep, 2002, 13:18…
the house mojo staff doesn't seem to be that active, too ... you raise questions but noone is ready to discuss it - neither vistors nor staff - it seems i was too optimistic, then :/
  • Marek on 03 Oct, 2002, 08:50…
Mojo has a really really really really cool feature coming up. They're alive ... somewhat. Stay tuned :D
  • Bobo Donkey? on 25 Sep, 2002, 09:55…
If I had the talent to make a website I would have all sorts of info on my favourite kind of games, Especially LucasArts? and Sierra? Adventure games. (AAAHH Bloddy Hell can't I post a single damn comment without mentioning Sierra? once? AAAHH damn I said it again. I'm a bad Donkey?, a VERY bad Donkey?. Stupid, stupid Donkey? thats what I am.) I would comment on the differences between the two different company's and what makes thier games unique. I'd also gather as many in-jokes as possible from both sides and mention the ones that other sites fail to notice (There are MANY in-jokes refering to Sierra? (AAAHH) in several LucasArts? titles and vice-versa).

I own The Memoirs Of Guybrush Threepwood (http://tmogt.monkeymug.com) and have art hosted on The Brimstone Beach Club (http://brimstone.scummbar.com) but I don't go on the forums regularly (I really should, shouldn't I?)
  • matt on 25 Sep, 2002, 11:28…
i don't do that either - it's just that when you start to use forums too much you can get addicted :) really, and i'm already spending too much time in front of the screen now... the mixnmojo comments section is enough forum for me.

I have no clue where I fit in. Uh... moral support? Beh, like anyone that frequents this site knows me, only the people that run it do. Heh. IRC is funny that way.

Does anyone have a Day of the Tentacle website? I'd love to link to it!

I moderate the Games Forum at theforce.net, and have a few Jedi Knight mods posted at massassi.net.

I'm presently writing a weekly "newbies guide to Jedi Outcast skinning" at theforce.net games forum.

    Church of Tim
    EMI Guide (with Matt)
Backfire Killed the Sly -- the last one is not really a fan site, but it's Mojo-bound.
  • matt on 25 Sep, 2002, 05:19…
    What the FU*K!
yes Jake - we hate EMI :) at least we really don't like it... Are you on drugs, S? Man, you're linking to the wrong site and even call it by name??

(Detailed EMI Guide BTW, Scabb - although i don't like EMI i like your Guide)

However - I'm Matt and I'm making the Essential Guide to MI ... it's closed since 2 or 3 month now (aw god, how time flies) but will return before x-mas in an exclusive new handmade version... maybe even bi-lingual (english/german). Thanks for listening :) ... I think I'll open it again (old version)- maybe it's not good to have it closed that long...
  • Kingzjester on 25 Sep, 2002, 07:54…
Oops... I opened the source code of the page and copied the links from the right bar somewhat randomly... me mestake... It said "guide" so I thought that was that... Scheisse, gaffe galore... t-hee-hee...
  • matt on 25 Sep, 2002, 08:36…
    well

    :)
  • Jake on 24 Sep, 2002, 16:57…
You make the EMI guide? I thought you hated EMI. You sure you didn't make the Essential Guide?
  • Tall Guy on 24 Sep, 2002, 15:39…

  • Marek on 24 Sep, 2002, 15:35…
    I ran Plunder Island!

    Does that still count?
  • Erwin_Br on 24 Sep, 2002, 14:16…
I've got a site on mixnmojo called RoBOT (the almost dead engine) and I'm doing things for Adventure Developer like updating the AD Directory, posting news, etc.

I don't even post on the message boards, I just read the site and occasionally post comments in these little sections here. I'm quite possibly the lurkingest lurker who ever lurked.

Although I was the one who tipped you guys off about Full Throttle 2 way before it was announced, does that count?
  • Jake on 24 Sep, 2002, 15:16…
If you have an account you're hardly a lurker :) I'd heard a little bit about FTII ahead of time, but I was driving and things the 2 days before E3, so I didn't find out it was announced until LucasArts played the FTII trailer before their Episode II screening. Bah!
  • LucasTones on 24 Sep, 2002, 12:04…
I run the little known LucasTones

  • Jake on 24 Sep, 2002, 16:59…
peep... word... i'm too petrified to say anything.
