KOTOR is now on steam 05 Sep, 2009 / Comments: 4

If you missed the headline above, it reads Knights of the Old Republic* is now on steam.

See?

If anyone is unfamiliar with the game, it's one of the last true Star Wars classic videogames published by LucasArts. It was developed by Bioware and released back in 2003 to near universal critical acclaim. It's well worth the $10 if you've never picked it up before now.

* Albeit in its acronym form.

Great game, shame the sequel didn't live up to expectations. Bought it but didn't finish it. Had forgotten about it though so this news may inspire me to dust off my copy of the sequel.

I just bought the sequel for $20 at the local Target and have been playing it during the day a lot. At night I now play Gabriel Knight 1. I get no sleep anymore...

Bugger. Swell sense of timing LucasArts - a month ago I would've bought it straight away, as it's utterly impossible to find a cheap copy of it nowadays. However, I did, and have literally just finished it. Oh well.
