KOTOR Xbox Interview 14 Oct, 2002, 10:07 / 5 comments

XboxGamers.com has published a new interview with with Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk of Bioware, the company making the upcoming RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The interview mainly focuses on why the developers chose the Xbox console instead of a Gamecube or PS2 system. I can't think of anything else to say about this one, so here it is.

x-box sucks and the guys who are making this game, who I know very well, do not like x-box at all. Actually they didnt care for being "bought-out". A few people left too because of that and went off to some better companies actually.

I figured they chose XBox to develop on because BioWare got bought out by Microsoft...

That was after development of KotoR started. At least I think so.

As far as I know, Bioware hasn't been bought out by Microsoft... which would make a change!

The GC version of Baulder's Gate: Dark Alliance or whatever it is has only sort of been announced within the last couple of months.

Maybe I'm wrong (& I probably am!) but Microsoft are beginning to annoy me a bit with throwing their loot-loaded wallets around... I mean, I own an Xbox (as well as a Gamecube, PC, GBA etc. etc.), but I was still pretty narked with the Rare purchase.

But hey, it's not a Rare/Microsoft site this... I'll shut up now... :-)
