The Tingler: You didn't correct the aspect ratio of Indy4 in that video! :P

I remember completing the game in 2 out of the 3 ways given (maybe I did all 3, don't remember). Great game, but don't feel like playing it again. It's too convoluted for my current tastes, and requires too much time. Whereas MI2 r0x0rz its s0x0rz!

    HighLand Productions lives on!

So what kind of reader opinions are you looking for exactly? Cause this was probably my second favorite of the old Lucasarts adventures, I'm sure I could think of something to say about it.

Also, Metallus, I think I'm on the complete opposite end from you, I had no idea there was even a way to finish the game without Sophia.
  • Metallus on 20 Aug, 2008, 22:30…
Bizarre. Tempted to go and replay it, but perhaps the different ending was the result of the "mode" you picked? Perhaps the article can explain this! :)

Welllll... who do you not have to save in Atlantis? :)
  • Metallus on 20 Aug, 2008, 23:24…
I don't understand. All I remember was that Sophia became a god and exploded. It was possibly 10 years ago that I played it last.

You can do that in any path. All you have to do is not rescue Sophia from Nur-Ab-Sal or whatever his name was. She shows up possessed, turns into a god, and is destroyed.

I guess I misread the situation, heh. I must have assumed that you didn't have that option, but I don't really remember much about the details of that scene.

It was the same with the Dig.
I didn't even know you could bring Maggie back to life until I saw a video of it on Youtube. Pretty gruesome too!
  • Zaarin on 20 Aug, 2008, 23:34…
    Aha, save her then. :)

A reader opinion is anything you want it to be. Just send it in!
  • Metallus on 20 Aug, 2008, 17:19…
Whoa whoa whoa, I think I beat the game wrong way back when. Sophia didn't make it, and I assumed that was the only ending :(

I'll write an opinion as soon as I'm back from Lowlands!
