So, despite last week's press release announcing the downloadable release of the PC version of Insecticide (Part One) on June 13th, I'm not seeing it on Direct2drive, Paradox, or Gametap unless I'm missing something.

I can tell you though, even though it's probably pretty old news, that the DS version of the game's SRP has gone down to $19.99, which doesn't say anything positive about the game's sales, but may make it more attractive to you if for whatever reason the PC version is not an option.

Update by The Tingler: Hmm. If you look at GameZone's page on the game, they mark the digital download as coming 1st July.

2nd Update: We've now heard back from Crackpot about the release. On asking for a quote about the release, here was the reply from Michael Levine:
My quote is this: "The game is done and the release is imminent.”

That work? (-:

    Eh. Sadly, Insecticide never gave me any real reason to get excited about it - regardless of how good it may or may not be. And if a big adventure fan like me isn't excited, where does that leave everyone else?

    I'm really excited about it. Perhaps because I was disappointed with the new Sam & Max games and there's nothing else fun amongst the new realeses prepered by ex-LucasArts employees until A Vampyre Story and Mata Hari... Nah, the game looks good enough itself to be excited about it.

    According to Gamer's Gate the game will be available June the 20th. I don't know if it's a reliable source, considering that the game is selling there for 29.99$...

    Makes sense. They're probably bundling the two episodes together. Price fits for that, and it doesn't SAY "Episode 1".

    they need to get their act together..a clear definite release date is needed if you are talking about digital distribution

    I find this lack of proper informations disappointing. Digital-delivery should be supported by clear and frequent news and/or forums (see Telltale). The official site and Gamecok site are silent. :-(

    It's odd. Gamezone, the site you linked to before, has this note saying it'll be available on this other site, but that site says it's coming out NEXT week.
