Insecticide web site revamped 15 Aug, 2007 / Comments: 5

Crackpot has given the official Insecticide web site a slight overhaul. There's nothing terribly new information-wise, but there is a lot of new art and screenshots to uncover in all the Flash heavy fun. Check it all out.

Edit: Kotaku scored itself some exclusive desktop backgrounds for Insecticide which seem to be little more than high quality stills from the trailer but are awesome nonetheless.

    I'm one who usually hates people bemoaning screenshots. But, uhh, let's say I'm not exactly drooling at those new in-game shots on the site.

    Hopefully the animation, atmosphere & plot will make up for the (possible) lack of visual flair...

    I still say that the PC screenshots at least cannot be final. I mean, there's no way.

    Yeah, you must be right. The trailer is lovely, but it looks like a completely different game.

    Why would you revamp your website and then put up screenshots like that though? :-(

    Hmm... I think they look quite good! Could do with bigger sizes, though.

    I think it was Jake who made the comment earlier that they look like unlit environments. I'm sure when it's finalized it will make a difference. This is surely going to be a modestly budgeted game so no one expects mindblowing graphics but I see what JP is getting at. If you look at those last three PC screenshots in particular they could look a good deal better, and I think it will.
