Insecticide screenshots swarm their way buzz to your exist 18 Dec, 2007 / Comments: 6

A whole slew of new Insecticide screens from both versions of the game have been spreading across the internet over the past few weeks. If you haven't caught them yourself yet, why not check them all out in the world-renowned Mojo gallery where they were added after being unequivocally stolen provided to us by Gamecock Media's PR department?

I should also mention that the game's official web site received another design overhaul somewhat recently.

Graphically it looks very similar to Pyschonauts... is that a co-incidence or did the same people work on it?

Only Psychonauts connection I can think of is that Peter Chan did concept art for both and Peter McConnell is doing the music. There are a lot of LucasArts adventure people on this game though.

That's a good thing, though right?

Still, am wary of this game just because of the minimal systems it's for.

Maybe he means that the game looks like it's being made for low end computers?

I'm not sure what to think really, many of the PC screen shots don't even have shadows or lighting enabled in the scenes-- obviously early or even half-way through the production cycle of a game these kinds of things are normal. But it is supposed to releasing in one or two months.

Right now it is looking very "Full Throttle 2".

Considering the people behind the game I remain optimistic-- we know the music will be good at least.

Full Throttle 2 looked bad not just because the technology looked outdated, but because the art style looked horrible. I don't see how anyone can look at Insecticide and say it suffers the same problem.
