Indy Strikes Gold! 13 Feb, 2003 / Comments: 10
LucasArts.com announced today that Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb has gone gold and launched a new website. The site now contains such goodies as desktop wallpaper, a TV commercial, and two tracks from the amazing live orchestral score written by Clint Bajakian. Woohoo!
Also, if you didn't catch it the first time it appeared, be sure to read our interview with Clint concerning his work with a live orchestra for this game. The results really speak for themselves.
Look for the Xbox version in stores on February 25th with the PC version available on March 18th and the PS2 port sometime in May.
i dont know about you guys
but im gonna make camp at my local computer games store and wait for that fedex guy to come around...
as for Scumbuddy's comment:
Indiana Jones and the emperors tomb was originally designed with the xbox sdk, moreover they are using the buffy engine (revamped) which was designed for xbox use. Although the pc version might be good, it probably wont look or play as good as the xbox's. Same goes for the ps2.
But hey... im a hardcore indy fan...
im gettin the pc and xbox versions for collections sake
I'm gonna try to win that DREW signed poster on theraiders.net
I've listened to the MP3s about 20 times now, and I just can't stop.
By the way, if someone finds out to dowmload the music that plays on the main site (the re-recorded Raiders March), please let me know!
you could do:
1. start iexplorer and browse to the new indy et website. press the sound icon on the upper right corner, this mutes the sound for a moment.
2. start->run->programs->accessories->entertainment->sound recorder
(or find another sound recorder)
3. double click 'speaker'-icon in traybar on the lower right corner of your screen (yellow icon in icon esries next to clock)
4. Options -> Properties -> Recording -> What U Hear/Wave out/simular thing
5. Go back to the Sound Recorder and press the REC button, switch to iexplorer and press the sound icon of the indy site to play the theme.
6. Stop recording when the music is done playing or has start in a loop, save the file you created.
I guess I'll upload the file to iMuse Island as well for those who are interested.
