I knew that someday you'd come walking back through my door 09 Jun, 2009, 15:05 / 8 comments

You'll be pleased to hear that Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis has been released on Wii for the first time today. As a bonus, it comes bundled with Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, Indy's first new gaming adventure in six years.

To celebrate, the latest edition of LucasArts Insider (yes, it's still going) has been mailed out. I only presume LucasArts are mocking us, as this was the picture they used.

Unfortunately I promised not to mock LucasArts ever again after last Monday, so I'll stop for now.

The good news is that Fate of Atlantis unlocked pretty much after the tutorial level \o/

I've covered quite a bit of ground in it already. Could be a lot worse and it does have some charm to it but the controls can be a bit of a pain at times (I'm playing the Wii version, obviously...)

No sign of the satchel yet... Oh, and a complete omission of the map screen with signature red line between locations! Unacceptable...

Ah, yes. Fate of Atlantis for the Wii has finally been released. There might be something else on the disc... not too sure on that one.

It's generally getting slammed in the reviews (FoA notwithstanding)

Awesome!! Does anyone know if it is the talkie version and if they updated the graphics?

    Talkie: yes, graphics-update: no

Poor Indy. The starch has been taken right out of his whip in that pic.

I hope the Staff of Kings is worthy for playing, because Fate of Atlantis for sure is.

I'll be making my decisions after the reviews start pouring in.
