There have been not-so-subtle hints of a Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition release on iPhone floating around for a while now but now it seems like an almost-certainty.

LucasArts had this to say on Twitter:

This isn't the first time such things have been hinted at. Destructoid have the lowdown here.
