With the latest "Secret History" article published, another one looms on the horizon. In roughly a month we will be presenting the eighth article in our retrospective series (already halfway over, if you can believe it), which will of course be about Day of the Tentacle, the loose sequel to Maniac Mansion.

As usual, we want your opinions for our reader section. We will also consider any mini-articles for DOTT that you may have in mind for the article, though if you'd like to write one please give us a ring first so that we can get an idea of what you're doing, and you don't potentially waste your time.

Let's get cracking!

In my list of LucasArts/Films games that I have played, DOTT appears pretty late so I don't really have any nostalgic feelings when I think of the game or replay it.
Nevertheless I really enjoyed playing it. I liked they crazy style of the characters and the rooms.
The theme of time travel is one of my favourite themes so that is another plus.
The possibility to send items through a toilette into another time in order to solve problems there is quite unique and led to an interesting way to solve problems.
I thought it was too easy, but I had a lot of fun playing it.

Anyone doing a "historical inaccuracies" that make the game 10x funnier, article/list, yet?

Quick opinion: DOTT is what I admit to people as my favorite game of all time. First of all because it is, and second of all because the reactions from people that have never heard of it can be interesting. The game is fun, witty, and will forever skew one's view of the US founding fathers. My love of pirates is just ever so subtly beaten by my love of mad scientists and bizarre time travel antics.

I hope you guys manage to get an interview with Peter Chan and ask him stuff about the DOTT-artwork he did for the old "Adventurer"-cover.
