Haden Blackman Unleashed from LucasArts 29 Jul, 2010 / 4 comments

IGN is reporting that long-time LucasArts employee and Force Unleashed series producer Haden Blackman has resigned.

"While the decision to leave LucasArts did not happen overnight or come easily, I really feel that now is the best time for me to move on and explore new creative challenges and I look forward to the next phase of my career."

STFU2 is still on schedule for an October release, according to an anonymous LucasArts spokesperson.

13 years on one IP is enough to drive most people mad.

Best wishes to Haden on his next venture. He produced some decent SW games during his tenure (along with a fair few turkeys...)

LucasArts: He is part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor... take him away!

Kotaku reminded me that a lot of high-profile people at the company have left this year, most notably Darrell Rodriguez of course.

I'm beginning to wonder what the hell's going on and what the next game from them will be.
