Oh yes, I tried this game's demo when it arrived and this is a great combination of legos in star wars universe.

    Very fun and relaxing gameplay.

Haha, yeah, I tried doing that... that's like what I was saying about playing Lego as a kid and anything goes. You wouldn't be able to get away with a Star Wars disco in, say, Jedi Knight II, but with Lego the sky's the limit... Fantastic!

As for content being cut: that's interesting, I didn't know that... I did notice that some key scenes were cut, but I thought that was to do with pacing and that some scenes would be too hard to make into levels. Anyway, interesting link! Here's hoping that they'll release an add-on pack or something. At least hopefully the original trilogy (if they make it) won't be as rushed because there won't be a film release to tie in with...

My favourite game of the last year (I haven't got Psychonauts yet).

The saddest thing about this title is that a lot of content has been cut, probably due to the deasline of Episode III in theatres.

I've done some basic modding to view a few of the unused models in-game. You can follow the progress here (PC only, obviously).

Best Easter Egg in the game is the Meco Disco Star Wars / Saturday Night Fever pastiche on Kamino.
