Fan records live instrument Maniac Mansion track 04 Apr, 2008 / Comments: 5

A reader named Nik wrote me to share a fan-made version of Dave's theme music from the NES version of Maniac Mansion, produced by a fellow named "shaunphase." Nik says the following about the person responsible for the track:
This guy on this online community I visit is pretty into turning NES tunes into proper songs. I don't think he's done any other MM tunes though, he says they're pretty difficult.

    He has like a million releases, including 7 full-length video game remake CD's. He's done around 450 video game covers to this point. Seriously.

    At least that's the handle he used on our boards. I hope I can find him, I'd PAY him to make a full album. And yes, it would be perfect to have a proper recording of the music in the MMDeluxe. :D

    Wow! This is wonderful. I would love to see a remade version of Maniac Mansion Deluxe with this guy's music!
