Episode 3 Video Game Poster Revealed 20 Apr, 2004 / Comments: 6

There's a new photographed poster on TheForce.net that is claimed to be for a forthcoming Star Wars Episode III video game. If legitimate, it's probably the previously rumoured "Vader" game.

Alternately, it may be an actual movie poster, and the 3rd installment of the prequel trilogy after The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones is titled "The Video Game". This will no doubt give much mileage to those who believe there has been too much digital trickery / special effects in the latest movies. check it out.

Update: More information from starwars.com
Star Wars: Episode III Making the Game Preview: Video-game players will be able to experience the stunning Jedi action of Episode III themselves in the new Star Wars: Episode III game, due out in Spring 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. This special feature shows how game developers at LucasArts worked behind-the-scenes and on the set to create the most authentic Jedi experience ever.

How can they expect us to look forward to this game if the movie's gonna suck. (which it will)

I thought we had an anti-starwars related rip off games policy. how does posting news on them aid our cause.

How does /not/ posting news on them aid our cause?

Anyway, as Jake said, it's a new game announcement, not a latest IGN preview or lucasarts.com screenshot update.

New game confirmation announcements is fine. We're just not going to link to every Gamespot preview or LucasArts.com screenshot update.

I thought the new movie was "Episode III: Swordfish" not "The Video Game." I guess the internet can't be trusted.

This game is obviously the sequel to that critically acclaimed and much loved LucasArts interpretation of "The Phantom Menace".

    Bwahahaahahaahaha.

Oh, and "After careful evaluation of current market place realities and underlying economic considerations, we've decided that this was not the appropriate time to launch yet another generic Star Wars game on the PC."
