    Am I the only one who doesn't have to renew his domain name? My provider does it automatically, unless I cancel it.

    If you have a domain name that isn't registered with Network Solutions in the late 90s and never transferred to a company that wasnt out to rob you at every turn maybe. Network Solutions prefers to not tell you your domain is expiring, then to try and overcharge you to renew once you catch on.
