Do it, Commander! 01 Feb, 2009, 21:43 / 4 comments

Well I'll be a Cocytan's uncle, we're ready to start accepting reader opinions for our next Secret History article, which of course centers around The Dig. Send in your reader opinions for us to put in the article, and replay the game while you're at it to get in the mood while waiting for the big retrospective to get published!

Additionally, if you happen to be a huge fan of The Dig and would like to write some sort of editorial about an aspect of the game for us to put in the article, let us know! We're always open to that sort of thing.

Ooh, an editorial! I'd love to do that! I'll let you know if I get around to doing it.

I remember seeing a preview for the game in an issue of PC Gamer (or some sort) when I was a kid (I think before Sam & Max: Hit the Road). Longest anticipated game for me back then, and it never let me down when I my parents bought it [for me] as soon as it had come out.

    Have. To. Replay.

Let us know if you end up doing one! (The story about your anticipation for the game sounds worthy of an editorial in and of itself!) Also, to give you a general timetable, we're trying to publish in roughly a month.

I played the demo of The Dig when I was a little kid. I vaguely remember space suits and dark, crystalline caves. I remember someone being hurt. And I remember being very, very confused.

I have never wished to play The Dig in my adult life. Perhaps this is something I will come to change someday.
