Right for some time I've had a CD copy of LOOM sitting here, waiting to be used as a prize in a contest. But we can't think of any decent contests right now (actually thats a lie we have a much bigger one planned). We need you lot to come up with a competition that we can run, the winner of which gets LOOM. Something involving retro LEC, something creative! Go readers go, send me ideas! The winner of this mini find-a-contest-contest will get.. an email address @ mixnmojo.com and thescummbar.com (when we resolve its DNS).

    I have 3 LOOM-orienated ideas. 1:The first person to find a new in-joke in Loom(i really hate that Han one) 2:The person with the best new Loom site(I'm opening one at Adventuregamer by the way) 3:Just put the names of everyone in the Mixnmojo community and draw the name. Or you could just give it to me.

    Two more ideas, in case you needed them: Give it to me, Remi, or Trinity, for keeping the PibLuff alive; Or give it to the person who manages to get stuck in the EMI demo in two different ways, using bugs (hey, if I can do it, so can they).

    Well, why don't we A:Design Mixnmojo banners B:Write a LucasArts orientated song/rap/poem C:Greatest .gif animation! D:A hidden screenshot, we have to say which game it is from and the winner is drwan from a hat E:A Lookalike/Soundalike contest for CMI/EMI/DOTT/Infy&Atlantis/FT/GF etc etc. F:The best reason why you should win G:Make a site that links to mixnmojo. The best wins (eg one big picture). I like idea B best :~D

    OK, either the one about doing LEC collages, which I'm good at, or designing the LOOM cover... But then BooJaka has fewer chances to win, so... Why not just do both? I mean, you could just have people make either a collage or a LOOM cover. And another idea, just in case you needed any, is a LEC TC. Things like skins, levels, weapon packs, stuff like that.

    I agree with the Loom orintated thing. But couldn't you just give it to me? It'll be a lot easier in the long run!

    If a CD version of LOOM is the grand prize, how about a LOOM-oriented contest? Personally, I believe that LOOM is much more worthy of a remake than MYST (i.e. RealMYST), so maybe do a "LOOM New Edition" thing - like, ask people design screenshots of the new LOOM, or maybe a package idea.

    How about a Fanart or a Lucasarts Collage competition where you can either use your own images or or images taken from LEC games. That way you will at least have a few Pictures of the Week to keep you going for a while.

    How about a contest to make up new holiday headers for your site? The best-looking one wins. That'll save Jake some trouble, too :)
