Banner Contest Winners 09 Jul, 2001 / Comments: 24

We have been going through all the fantastic banners that you submitted for the contest. All of them were brilliant, and i'd like to thank everyone who entered for making me laugh!

Anyway, 2 winners have to be announced. Originally the plan was to allow you lot to judge and choose one of the winners, but we cant set up a safe and decent way of doing that because we have a ton of other things to develop right now. So we went ahead and chose both winners ourselves (hope you don't mind!)

    Congratulations Soul_Eater (I liked your Maniac Mansion banner best). I didn't even won a runner up prize with my Murray&Purple banner (I think it was to big or something).Hou did you make those letter,DanSky?Did you draw them ore used a lettertype program. This contest should realy Realy REALY RRREEEEAAAAALLLLLYYYYYY be anual.

    I searched for the most similiar font, and then fixed it. ...there is no Monkey Island font, anywhere. and the most similar is very different :-)

    This contest sounded like loads of fun. Too bad I was way busy with Mojo stuff to enter :(. Although I don't really need 3 copies of EMI (I won one from mojo already), heh. Congrats to the winners, and maybe I'll have some time to enter the next big mojo contest.

    Congratulations winners! I think DanSky definitly deserved to win; his banners were graphically the best!     Wow! Those banners were great. My favourites were Huz and Jakes (I thought it was quite funny) Keep it up!!
