Arr, 'tis Pirate Joke Monday 08 Jun, 2009, 15:01 / 7 comments

Captain Kidd and his crew were on the high seas when they were attacked by Blackbeard, their arch enemy.

The first shot by Blackbeard's gunners took off Kidd's forward mast. The second shot splintered the center mast, and the third desintegrated the rear mast.

Panic stricken, one of Kidd's men asked what they should do.

"We have no choice but to surrender", replied the pirate. "He's using weapons of mast destruction!"

So there's this pirate captain who wakes up one morning to find rival pirates preparing to board his ship. Before the rival pirates can swing across with swords drawn the pirate captain turns to his first mate and says "Gather the crew! Prepare for battle! And bring me my lucky red shirt!". The fight is long and hard but the pirate captain is victorious.

The next day the pirate captain wakes up to find 2 rival pirate ships preparing to board him. Once again he turns to his first mate and says "Gather the crew! Prepare for battle! And bring me my lucky red shirt!". This battle is longer and harder, but still the captain and his crew are victorious.

Later that day, the first mate turns to the captain and asks "Why do you always ask for your lucky red shirt? Does it grant you super human strength?" to which the captain replied "My lucky red shirt disguises my wounds. The crew cannot see the blood from my injuries and think I am unharmed. This gives them the courage they need to fight back and never give up."

The next day the pirate captain wakes up to find 10 pirate ships surrounding him. He turns to his first mate and says "Gather the crew! Prepare for battle! And bring me my lucky brown trousers!"
