For those interested, the Force Unleashed demo is now available for the 360 and PS3.

Impression? Certainly reminiscent of the Dark Forces games, a lot of cool powers available off the bat, and it quite possibly has the potential to be a very fun game. On the flip side, the controls are, in my opinion... funky...

    Took the words right out of my mouth, i would say it feels like a jedi outcast zero. I have to say i sat downloading it eagerly all morning and played the demo through in 15 minutes or so(possibly being generous here). I look forward to playing the full game, the demo doesnt seem long enough to really showcase any of the neat stuff they have been showing in the vids. I also noticed that as opposed to the demo vids i couldnt really open doors with anything other than force push, and that generally seemed to open the exact same way most the time. You can bend it back further with more pushes but it didnt seem to be as individual as the DMM info was saying. Perhaps i was doing it exactly the same way though each time, the old habits from the limitations of previos titles may be hard to break.
    I probably should fiddle around with the demo a bit more, i want to see if i can force grab a tie-fighter :P

    I don't believe they're releasing it for PC (the fiends). LucasArts have probably decided (like they do for adventure games) that PC is dead, which it isn't.

    Ah good. I look rather silly now.... Ah well. PC gamers already have a version of the game, it's called Jedi Knight...
