Star Wars: Attack Squadrons isa free-to-play space combat game for PC, being developed by Area 52 Games, in conjunction with Disney Interactive and LucasArts. It allows players to customise and tune "popular Star Wars ships" like X-Wings and TIE fighters and will support dogfights of up to 16 players.

I have to say I'm actually liking the Disney-helmed LucasArts so far. Now they just have to announce games based on some of their non-Star Wars licenses and I'll be completely sold.

We've had 2 fun casual games this year, an announcement for a return to a fan favorite franchise, and now a return to LucasArts' Star Wars roots with space combat.
