A Dangerous Review 08 Dec, 2003, 20:58 / 7 comments

Finally a new article. Our own The Scumm Bar's Remi Olsen has taken a good long face-numbingly pensive look at the recently released Armed & Dangerous, and reviewed it, too. Does he like it? We suggest you read the review to find out, instead of cheating and reading the caption over there in the sidebar that says he likes it.

Contrary to the review, you can save anywhere (not just in the pubs), at least in the PC version.

I seriously doubt the "based on a true story" is a nod to the Coen brothers! Lol! :)(Take a look at their website and you'll see what I mean.)

After playing a few levels into Armed & Dangerous I'm pretty pleased. The game is mindless actioney fun, except I guess minus the mindless part. I was hoping that some of the weapons like the topsy-turvy would have more frequent use within the game (as it is in the game, when you pick it up in the pub you only get one shot with it), but it's really REALLY fun to unleash 2 or 3 sharks into a pack of guys. Oh man. ... that's all.

It's kind of sad reading this now...

Having watched Jake play a few levels and having played a few levels myself, I should note that there's a HUGE difference between Easy and Normal difficulties. I can only imagine what the next two levels up are like :)
