Some say 2024 ends at 23:59, December 31st, and to them, we say, pfffffft. The year does, of course, end when we publish our end-of-year article, which is today, 14:58, the 26th.

    The biggest LucasArts/Film-related disappointment of the year:

    Limited Run Games ships their Maniac Mansion Collector's Edition... and, according to everyone I've asked, it's the same darn cracked/broken version as the one on GOG and Steam. And if that's true... So much for "the Limited Run team mines the original data straight from the period game discs and cartridges" [1]. Bunch of tuna heads, the lot of them.

    2024 was the worst year of my life after 2017 and 2021, but I am glad you guys are still here. Let's hope 2025 will be better. May the Force be with you, till all are one.
